Shepherd Team Camp
One Heart Athletics and Shepherd University is proud to provide an opportunity for the players of Calvert football program to participate in a one-of-a-kind camp experience.
This will be the first step in what is guaranteed to be an exciting season.
Our campers will gain great insight into our offensive system and the basic skills required to run a hard-nosed, physical defense. Furthermore, this camp experience will be enhanced with quality coaching from as many as 15 college and high school coaches, bringing our camper to coach ratio close to, 3 campers for every 1 coach.
Shepherd will supply an air-conditioned dorm and their dining facility will supply 7 high quality all you can eat meals. Also, our players will have the opportunity to work with many of the Shepherd football coaches in preparation for the upcoming season.
Shepherd Football Team Camps are a great opportunity for your school to get ahead of the competition for the upcoming season. High School Teams will be able to undergo 6 practices in the 3 days and 2 nights of the camp. The practices will take place on Shepherd University’s state of the art Game and Practice Fields. While boarding in Shepherd University Residence Halls, teams will be able to develop chemistry, which is must for a successful season. The camp will also provide a firsthand experience of what it is like to be a college athlete. Campers will become part of the Shepherd University Campus Community. Campers will get the chance to meet the Shepherd University Football Staff and Players. Shepherd Football Team Camps have been running over the past 20 years and have been key part to many successful high school seasons. What To Bring: Since this is a stay over camp you will need the following
- Bedding, sleeping bag, single bed sheets, blanket, pillow
- Toiletries, including soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, washcloth, Sunscreen
- Snacks
- There will be 6 practices, it is encouraged to bring enough tshirts, shorts and socks to be able to change into dry clothing for each practice.
- Cleats, Athletic Shoes
- Bathing Suit
- Small amount of money for pizza and Gatorade purchases at the end of each evening
